This page will explore the use of different ways students process. From visual processing to verbal processings we will display the best tools to help students understand how they process and websites that best support that type of processing.        Students learn and process information in various ways. It is important when teaching children, that you integrate different tools that help each student learn in the best way. Here are some different learning styles to keep in mind.

Visual Learning: the learner better understands and retains information when ideas, words and concepts are associated with images.

Verbal Learning: process of acquiring, retaining and recalling of verbal material.

Kinesthetic Learning: a kinesthetic-dominant learner prefers a physical experience. She likes a “hands-on” approach and responds well to being able to touch or feel an object or learning prop.
